Bat walk @ Norton Priory
Norton Priory is hosting evening bat walks throughout the summer holidays. These events, led by the Priory’s ranger and an expert, involve using bat detectors to locate bats in the woodlands and near the Bridgewater Canal after dark.
What to Expect
- Bat watch: The Bridgewater Canal provides a good spot to observe bats hunting over the water.
- Uneven terrain: The event involves walking in the woodlands and near the canal after dark, so some uneven ground is to be expected.
- Things to bring: Attendees are advised to wear appropriate clothing and bring a torch.
