Carers Health Checks in Runcorn

The carers health check assessment is an opportunity to discuss what support you may need and will look at how caring affects your life, including physical, mental and emotional needs, and whether you are able or willing to carry on caring. You can be accompanied by someone else at your Carer Assessment, as it’s important that you feel able to have your views clearly heard. When the assessment is complete, the local authority must decide whether the carer’s needs are ‘eligible’ for support.
